Why do Japanese children always point and stare at me?

Question

I have been living in Japan for over a year now and the same little kids I see everyday always gawk at me.

I am 6'5" with long blond hair so I understand the initial freakshow nature of my existence in their lives, but I would think they would get over it.

anybody have similar experiences?

I know what you feel and want to say. It is, however, no way because Japan is not USA at all.

You are long tall q***r stranger in Japan even if you have been lived there 100 years or more.

well first of all your probably weird to them ur probably the tallest dude in your area but thats a good thing dont worry bout that japanese chicks like tall dude...well ill tell you my cuzen had the same expierence here in the philippines he's only around 5 10 and people stair as if he was the biggest man they ever seen soo dont sweat it....

I think it's just normal for kids to do because you're different from them and they're just somewhat curious.

Tall. Blond. (not so much on the long hair). White.  To them you're a giant and a rare existence that people never see living near em. As for getting over it---they are kids. It'll take like 6 years to get over it for a child. Ha ha okay not 6 years probably just 3 lol.  Anyways dont worry, kids like to stare at anyone whos got even one thing different. They might even admire you.

Everyone in Japan is like 4'2 and you're freaking 6'5 and blonde. You don't think kids are gonna notice, idiot? Seriously? Are you for real right now? Kids stare at anything anyway...I walked around Manhattan with my throbbing member unzipped and naked for everyone to see. Kids stared. IT HAPPENS.

Yeah I get stared at here too. But I think for Japanese kids its like seeing a real live character from TV walking around. Must be like Disneyland everyday- at lease we gave the kids something to talk about at lunch time at school.

dude because japan is not that multicultural country unlike australia,america and different other countries. they all stare you because not that much of foregin people come to japan.
