I am currently looking at buying a performance vehicle for the first time. I was looking at Camaro SS and Mustang Cobras. I had a salesman show me a 2005 Mustang Cobra, and then took me to see another car all together. He showed me a 2005 G35 Coupe with a Supercharger. Mustang was 395 hp at the crank, so less at the wheels. G35 was dyno tested at 407hp at the wheels. Its a V6 compared to the supercharged V8 in the mustang. What gives?

  1. I dont know about that but they do have less problems in the long run according to research

  2. Wait a minute. A V6 vs a V8? That's the difference. The V6 has a better angle between the cylinders, for higher efficiency. The same phenomenon was used by Dodge way back when they had their slant six engine. It's all about geometry. It's not magic, and it's not just Japanese engines.
