  1. why not have one month that has all of them at the same time

  2. OK i'll admit it, i peeked in on this Q just to check the answers.

I'm so happy that nobody said 'because the earth is so close to the sun in summer..."  ...that's exactly the wrong answer, for the record.  It's warmer __in the north. hemis.__ because of the tilt of the earth, as one or two said.

Aug is very warm because the sun has a 'head start' so to speak--the land and water are kinda 'prewarmed' already in June and July.

  3. It's not unless you're in the Northern hemisphere - the longest period of time angled toward the sun.

  4. This is because the sun is closest to the northen hemisphere in these months and we are able to feel the sun's rays more at these times also because we have more hours of daylight in July and August BEST WISHES

  5. Only in the Northern Hemisphere

After an initial warm up in June, it takes time for the Earth to warm up.

Because of the tilt of the Earth toward the sun .
