Why do Kobe fans idolize him so much ?

I have no problem liking or having a favorite player. kobe is a great player. But if people are just going to obsess, worship, and are just his lovers and think the world revolves around him, then that's a problem.

KObe is simply the greatest in laker history when it comes down to scoring and being clutch Kobe but all around magic johnson is the best laker i idolize kobe because i think he sets up a good example for kids when it comes to work ethic hes the hardest worker in the nba that's why i idolize him but i don't worship i don't think and all u haters need to quit mentioning that rape case please thats over now forget it Stop hatin cause u cant be like him

he is an amazing basketball player one of the best in his era.

but we all know if he was offered more money he would go

or if hewas offered a spot on a stellar team perhaps better than the lakers he would go. I am a kobe fan but i could picture me rooting for the lakers without him.
