  1. Uh....one name for you buddy:  Annika Sorenstam.

    I don't believe she's Korean.

  2. Actually, they have for quite some time. Dedication, hard work, a lot of practice, and they learn from their mistakes. Their culture is very strict and hardworking. They also know that playing golf beats working for a living and they gladly put in the effort needed to be the best. In my opinion.

  3. Because they are ugly and fat and that is the only thing they can do.

  4. good question/ golf in school there must be prominently popular....

  5. I think it's because golf is so huge in the Asian cultures.  They take it very seriously, and now is the time the rewards are presenting themselves on an international level.

Now you may ask why, then, aren't Asian golfers dominating the professional men's circuits?

The male game, to a much greater extent than the female game, is based on power and strength.  This is where Asian men are at a slight disadvantage.  But things will change.

With golf becoming more and more popular in, specifically, China, it is reasonable to expect a future international golfing superstar (male) to emerge from China.

  6. Dedication, national pride, hours and hours of practice on the range, pressure from parents, highly competitive society.  Jan Stephenson not withstanding, golf is an equal opportunity game and they have made the best of it.  Si Re Pak really started it all, took the brunt of the early pressure and opened the doors for dozens of other fine players.  And Si Re Pak has become one of the grand ladies of this game.

  7. because of thier early mental maturity , physical maturity . also thier practice effort is dawn to dusk , the ladies mental toughness is equal , to tigers . physical conditiong equal to annikas , the asian culture is since the beginning of time , asians learn pride respect very young age , the win because of the fear of failure .
