There really is no reason, it doesn't make sense to me either. The person who said Pippen is better than MJ, is that why Pippen sat on the bench when Phil didn't let him take the game winner after MJ retired. Pippen helped MJ alot, but if you think Pippen is better you really don't know what your talking about.

u cant compare a Center with a Shooting guard first of all.  And Kobe still has about 8-10 years left in him if he plays as long as Jordan did, so we will see then.

MJ never was the best.. It was MJ's ballhogging that made Pippen his "sidekick" when Pippen carried them.. Jordan can't do S**t w/o Pippen..

bill russell? why would you compare the two? look at their stats. wilt chamberlain was the better player than russell. he just had the better teams.

and look at the eras. you should understand the disparity of playing in this era than in the 50's and 60's
