For example, the Apple Pie bar has 10 g of fat, but the only ingredients are dates, almonds, unsweetened apples, walnuts, raisins, and cinnamon. Is it the nuts that makes them fattening?

  1. Simple, because every food that tastes good has a con; it must be high in calories!

  2. Yes, it's the nuts.  Nuts have a lot of natural oil in them.  about 10 almonds have 6 grams of fat and about the same amount of Walnuts have about 13 grams of fat.

  3. Walnuts are high in fat, but a good kind of fat, the same goes for almonds.  Fat is essential for life, and good fats are fine in your diet.  The only ones to look out for are trans fats and saturated fats.

You don't need to worry about the fat in the Lara Bar.

    Cheers!!
