Why do MOST people HATE cute things????

It's so pathetic, anytime they see a cute pink fluffy teddy bear or a rainbow or pretty little flower, they're all "Oh no! Something nice, sweet, cuddly, and cute! Get it away! My cynical bad-*** complex is being threatened!!!!"

I just want to scream "SHUT THE F*** UP" at them. Why do they do it? They sound and look so incredibly pathetic! Do they think that being bad *** is cool because right now it's just annoying. Why are the cute cuddly things in this world going extinct and being replaced with drugs, alcohol, violence, blood & gore????

Why are people trying to make the world a darker place....

BC ppl are threatened by the most ridiculous things these days...its like if for one second you let someone see that you are human, your power is lost...everyone has to put up a front to remain POWERFUL and successful...I hate it too, really its sad.  Frankly i am glad that i have a heart and that i can appreciate things, that i am grateful and HUMAN-- that i have dignity and class...You are right about the world going dark, but just keep your head up and keep living for you, not for the world.  Thats the only way you will be able to make anything of yourself and the only way that you wont get sucked into the cruelty of this world we live in.

I loveee cute things &what not. People who try to avoid things that are extremely irresistable (like a cute puppy face) are probably just building a wall around themselves so they can create that BAMF image so people think they're cool. They're probably afraid of what everyone else will think if they admit to liking cute things. Ahhh, we live in a crazy world.

You must be talking about certain cultural/subcultural groups. Most women, girls, emo boys, at least 50% of g*y men, and children love cute things. The only people who overall usually don't like cute things are very maculine women and the majority of straight men.
