This is something new a guy answered this in one of the questions if I'm not wrong its 'tellmetellme'...and I am curious to find out. I have been living in Malaysia for so long and it has always been the other way round. Though SIngaporeans may arrogant, I find them more well mannered and educated. What do you have to say?

  5. Oh..I looked down to Australian.

    Because

    They're Down Under.

  6. Yes, us Singaporeans are arrogant. We have every reason to be, because our economy and standard of living is definitely higher than Malaysia's. And we are all english educated, and have an edge over YOU Malaysians at everything.

The above goes out to all of you Malaysians who are insecure and like to talk bad about us.

What you gotta understand is that, not all Singaporeans are like that. Most of us have relatives across the causeway ( I am a half-malaysian myself..), and we do respect Malaysians. I have had Malaysians as my colleagues, and honestly, they are no different from Singaporeans because they speak flawless English, and are in fact, more polite than some Singaporeans you see on the streets.

Singaporeans never had anything against Malaysians, we just hate your politics. Somehow, your government ALWAYS finds trouble with ours. But that's it.

I love the whole of Malaysia, there are so many places that are untouched by urbanization, and I realised that people living away from the cities are more friendlier. I have been to Kuantan numerous times to visit my relatives, and never had a problem getting around. People there speak great english as well, and I try not to be selfish, I speak Malay whenever I can.

Instead of seeing each other as rivals, why can't we all just accept the fact that we are neighbours, and no matter what, in times of need, we need help from each other? Maybe because you're all influenced by your government, whereas, we are not.

  7. Dude, enough with this type of dumba** questions. It ain't productive.

To the Malaysians that 'look down' on Singaporeans, p**s off!!!

To the Singaporeans that 'look down' on Malaysians, p**s off!!!

Once & for all, it's the person & not the nationality.

    Grow up people!!!

  8. ha???thats quite new to me but i always look down whenever i walk alone...hahahaha...never look down on people...but people always look down when talking to me...cos i'm short...hahahahaha...poor me :((

  9. no matter who you are, where you from, why you here...doesn't matter. the fact is the root cause is very much depends on the individual's attitude, morale values, personality and characteristic.

im malaysian and i work in singapore for almost 10 years or more, i don't deny some people from here are snobbish and nasty...but, i am glad to say that i have a group of singaporean friends who offered help when i need their help !

sometime, i feel my fellow countrymen are behave like a barbarian...unreasonable...greedy...and.... =(

  10. singapore is located in the south , that why we has to look down on them to find them............lol

  11. ..i'm turning ma head..up and down..i turn..turn turn..turn and turning around..and all that i can see..is juz the yellow lemon tree...

    and i wonder..wonder..i wonder how..i wonder why..bla..blaa...

    yeah..2 points for me...makaceh..

  12. why do Malaysian love to use the words look down??? dude, its underestimate or at least use the word belittle.. as for me, i never belittle them.. they are just people and most important just like you.. just because some of them look pretty ugly, doesn't mean you have to belittle them.. because you just don't know who they are.. as English idiom say, never judge a book by its cover..

    PEACE =D

  13. What to do... they located just down under.

  14. tellmetellme only referred to the answers he/she got from his/her Qs. not all of us look down on them vice versa...

  15. errr.. i thought it should be other way?

cos i always see in the news.. it's the malaysians thats always robbing the singaporeans. if malaysians are more supreme, it should be singaporeans rob malaysians right. singaporeans rich and more well mannered that why attacked by malaysians. so should be malaysians jealous of more superior singaporeans. well if i'm wrong, maybe malaysians do it for impression and not to show out their poverty and weaknesses.

  16. apakah tuan tiada soalan lain untuk ditanya?

saya seperti sudah buhsan dengan stereotype dan typical soalan seperti ini.

    oh tuhan. kenapakah~

  17. is it?

  18. LOL Whatever "look down" means, I just have issues with Singaporeans. Is that a better way of putting it?

My personal experience with Singaporeans are not pleasant in the slightest so I am presuming it is fair that I make such judgment. Call me ignorant or stupid or emotional or judgmental ANYTHING but the fact is no one's gonna make me "look up" to Singaporeans. Full stop :)

Well educated - yes I agree

    Well mannered - yes perhaps

So are Malaysians. Some, or most.

  19. i'm kinda fed up this look-down-who-is-better Qs.....

i'm Malaysian and i don't look down to any human unless they try to mess with me first. I have a great chinese male singaporean friend and i respect him so much. what say you?

  20. i believe is the other way around

  21. we just respect them as a friendly friends who live in same area..

it have many factors that differentiate between Malaysian and S'porean..culture/government policies/etc..

  22. Its definitely the other way round. Its just hilarious. The lady above me is absolutely right. Malaysia still need a long, hard way to be where Singapore is. But we love Malaysians anyhow...
