Lol i was just gonna ask a question saying that i think people overrate jeff hardy.  I think it's ridicilous when people say he is the best high flyer. He is a RISKTAKER. He isn't the best highflyer that is for sure.

I give Jeff his due that he is a very good high flyer:

However, many people rate him high because of his personality, and or because they just don't know many other wrestlers.  Additionally, many fans don't have a keen appreciation for the art of the high flyers.  There are several that I would rate above him to include:

Taka Michinoku whose Springboard Missle Dropkick and Twisting Asai Moonsault were something to be seen.  What you saw of him in the WWE did not compair to what he did in Japan and elsewhere.

Subu who had so many moves to include the Triple Jump Moonsault,

Asai Moonsault, Triple Jump Moonsault Plancha, and the Catapult Somersault Legdrop that they take him to just a whole other level above Jeff.

I wonder the same thing. Ive never considered Jeff a high flyer. Jumping off the top of the cage really doesn't make you a high flyer if Jeff's the best high flyer because of that Shane McMahon must be the god of high flyers

I don't think some people understand the term "High Flyer".  They see Jeff go up "high" on ladders and jump off, and they think that = High Flying.  It doesn't.  In my opinion the Lucha Libre style of wrestling, used by many, many, great Mexican and Japanese wrestlers is/are considered "high flyers" by most "smarks"  And yeah, if you're talking high-flying, AJ Styles > Jeff Hardy at that.  Not even close.

Even if they just saw mainstream wrestling, there are more high-fliers than Jeff Hardy; he's not the only one in WWE. Evan Bourne, Paul London, and Brian Kendrick are also high-fliers that are more solid in the ring than Jeff Hardy. TNA and Ring of Honor have high-fliers on par or beyond Jeff Hardy's skill, as do other organizations.

Most people think Jeff Hardy taking risks makes him automatically the best. If that's the case, we might as well say Shane McMahon is one of the best as well.

well because These so called "wrestle fans" only watch wwe and think he is so great. I consider him more of a risk taker than a high flyer because he only does the wishper in the wind and swanton. Yet aj styels does the flying forearm the spiral tap the fozzberry flop from the ring to the floor swan dives  suicidal dives, that spring board  into a reverse ddt  the moonsault and a cork s***w moon sault and those were just off the top of my head. I agree with you about jeff hardy and personaly i hate itwhen wwe fans say stuff like that and then they don't even watch other programs. STARRED

High Flying and Risk Taking fall hand in hand, True, Jeff Hardy does jump off anything above 15 foot wrecklessly in some matches, but he does have a very good arsenal of "high flying" moves as well.

Well, alot of the people who say that only watch WWE or in denial that there are better High Flyers. I can admit i have in fact called him the Best High Flyer in the middle of a rant about him and i take it back because it was stupid and i was Wrong. I know for a fact he is nothing compared to Jushin Ligar or Jack Evans. If people want to talk about the best high flyers they need to mention the likes of Jushin Ligar, Jack Evans & M Dogg.

As much as i like Jeff i can say he is not the best high flyer. I have no idea why people say it but I think he is one of the few high flyers left WWE today along with Rey, Evan Bourne, Paul London, Jimmy Wang Yan ect..these high flyers in my opinion are better than Jeff or atleast on the same level.  He is very exciting and risk taking..and it think thats were people get mixed up.

High Flying is different to risk taking. If some ones jumps of a building, is that considered high flying or risk taking? Risk Taking. Its the same concept with jumping of ladders ect..Ive said this before and i will say it again, I think Jeff is more of a risk taking dare devil than a high flyer. But he is my favourite Wrestler all the same.
