i've used to work at one of the restaurnat in Melbourne and i'd constantly heard the owner keep telling the hiring manager off as he had employed too many asian workers, To be honest with all of you they are the hardest workers and mind their own business but the owner keep giving hard time and abusing them even thought they didn't do anythings wrong, Where are the fairest for all these workers?

  1. I am a asian and I dont think all asians are hard workers. Like your first answer they just need a job.Hard workers depends on the person I know this white lady at my work that works very hard. In fact its usually the older people at my work that work hard. I know alot of asians who are lazy and I dont really respect that. As far as the owner, I think he has a grudge against asians. I dont know what are the laws in Melbourne, but in America you have to diverisfly your company. Which means you must have a certain amount of workers of different races, regardless of their quality. I am assuming asians are the minority over there, so I think the owner could be wrong, if and only if the same laws  apply over there. However there are other minorities there such as the aborginals, so maybe thats why he said that. He should not abuse them or give them a hard time, because its the manager who hired them. Unless they did something wrong I can see why he would give them a hard time. Just keep in mind people are not submissive as they look. Everyone has their breaking point and eventually they will speak up.You are right about the owner being a jerk and if you want to help those people out you can contact his boss, over here its called the district manager. I think where you are from, there are certain laws that should protect anyones rights, so you can help those asians by suing McDonalds.
