Why do Mondays usually seem like a tough day for the Dow Jones Industrial?

The trend seems to be that Mondays are tough days and then the Dow fully recovers on Tuesday and Wednesday.

In the summer particularly volume slows down. Traders take long weekends. There is little buying pressure. People come in to work to sell or they don't come in at all.
