Why do they park out like in shows and stuff and they only do it for saddleseat. I mean Arabians don't do it in saddleseat and Friesans don't and many other horses don't either, but why only Morgans and Saddlebreds? ***Also what would be really helpful would be to show a website on this topic. Oh and also please have good answers because I need this by tommarrow at 10:00 (AM) so please no answers like "I don't know or care" and stuff like that. Thanks!!

  1. because they are lean and beautiful although they are not the only ones, I have a hackney that does it. Saddlebreds and morgans are bred specially for that. Besides Arabians and friesians are better at other stuff then saddleseat.

  2. I used to work with tenn show horses, the park to make it easier to get on and off. When a 16 hand twh parks, it brings him down to about 14 hands thus easier to get on and easier to get off.

  3. In addition to Morgans and Saddlebreds, Tennessee Walking horses and to a lesser extent Arabians are set up to park out.

    This serves 2 purposes.

1)When showing in hand, it is meant to accentuate a nice top line.

    and

    2) It instills good manner and shows a specific level of training when a horse will park out for mounting.
