  1. I guess you have had a bad encounter with a micra driver and are just generally stereotyping all micra drivers now ?

Spend more time watching the road instead of trying to work out the speed of other cars ?

    ( no i dont drive a micra )

  2. If there not doing 23 they do 40 everywhere even in 30 zones and there all red and all the drivers are over 75

  3. They do but they don't realise their grandma put a brick under the pedal when they 1st. passed their test so that they didn't drive too fast

  4. so what would you rather that they ran around at 46mph in a 30 speed limit like most young drivers do and race from one set of traffic lights to the next.

maybe they just arent in a hurry and are trying so save petrol.

  5. its not in the manual

  6. Probably the same reason drivers of BMWs don't know that if you take your foot OFF the right hand pedal you can go at legal speeds instead of flat out everywhere.

  7. Are you nuts.  I tried this yesterday in my 08 Mondeo and before I knew it the d**n thing was doing 130mph - cripes.  At top speed it does about 160 but not over the humps where I live.

    Lifelong careful Sunday driver.

    Don't try this at home children. . . .

  8. Some can reach 28 mph

  9. Didn't realise that a Micra would top 20 mph.

  10. Gasp.  My first car was a 1-litre Micra and I'll have you know it went like the wind.

Boyf was very naughty and got it up to 100mph on an empty motorway once and we lived to tell the tale - including the car - although I'll admit it scared me witless as I thought any second the engine would go "bang" and fall out.

  11. I agree with Jeanette S except some are silver and 2 in our village are driven by couples in their forties.

  12. lol probably because in their day cars didn't go any faster than that! (stereotyping a bit but can't help myself!)

  13. Cos theyre driven by folk with a bit more sense who like to be frugal with the petrol

  14. because its mostly little old ladies driving them!!

  15. The question should really read "How did I pass my test without learning how to overtake slower vehicles"!

  16. I think it's restricted due to the weight. Most of them down here are owned by asian families and usually have 8-9 people in them...

Again, stereotyping, apologies, but I've seen so many asian families pack the entire family in them many a time.
