Why do Palestinians hold on to their keys to their old homes?

how do you thnk these poor elderly people will feel when they see what has becomeof their land and homes?

they keep their keys in hopes of one day returning to their homes

whn in reality they would be lucky if they can even find the door

I REMEMBER ONE NIGHT WE WERE ASLEEP WHEN WE WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO LOUD BANGS ON THE DOOR AS IF IT WAS OUR OWN DOOR, TURNS OUT IT WAS THE LADY ACROSS FROM US, SHE WAS YELLING CAUSE THOSE BIG NOSED PIGS CAME AND TOOK HER SON AND HAD NO REASON.

the tank was right there in front of our house and right next to her door. thats probably why

and long before that they came to that same house and threw a bomb in the basement and killed one of her sons, till this day it there is still a big hole in their house.

I think they should have moved on with their lives,I think they would be amazed at what israel did with the land they bought from the Arabs or the land abandoned by arabs  fleeing an invading arab army.
