Why do People Smoke Tobacco when Drunk

Question

As above... but only when they have are having a drink and not any other time?

Is it because of a head rush or because it makes them feel cool?

I don't get it!

It kind of stabilizes your high,  calms you down a little.  I like tobacco,  never one smoked it to look cool because I amusually alone when I do smoke,  most people hate it anyways.

Because alcohol is a CNS depressant and tobacco is a CNS stimulant so it tends to offeset the depressant effect.
