Why do Poles choose to work in the UK?

Polish women are sexier and the food and beer tastes better than in the UK. I have lived for a while in both places and think that the Polish are friendlier and have better education than most Brits from that soggy,dull island.

Because they get paid more and can claim benefits. I knew of some Polish people through someone else that were claiming child benefits in the Uk for children that were living in Poland! So theres a reason why. I also agree with some of the other responses about them being anti social. There are quite a lot of families that live in the same estate as my sister and they all stick together. They are not polite. There are 2 flats in a block of 6 and she has had nothing but trouble with them. They are rude,play loud music after 11pm when she has explained many times to them in the basic English they know that she has a one year old daughter yet they do it again and again. They have damaged the public hallway. f*g ends ripping down no smoking signs and so on. She has no other problems with the other people in the flats so therefore i dont believe that Polish people are better than the English.

Because the minimum wage in uk is higher than poland so even a skilled person in poland can come over to do a mundane unskilled job in the uk and get paid more (at least in the past this was true).

for the same reason every body else comes here, to bleed us dry ,and make more money in a week than a month in poland , get loads of benefits, free health care have there children here , and after a few years when they have enough money bugger off home again, there even getting wised about people paying them low wages, and a lot of them are honest enough to say they don't even like it here, it won't be long before there is a mass exodus, and the next breed of scum invade our country

not all polish women are hot. some are complete babes though. The reason is becuase employers need people to work for a low wage and no body who is already a citizen does not want to do them. So employers get them visas and employ them...

but what you saying about the women food and drink may just be stereotype and you probably havnt met someone that is polish and nasty

I have to argue with you here.  The polish we have are quite anti social.  They stick in their own packs and will not engage you if you're not polish.

My boss organised a Polish Night with polish food, music, beer etc

not ONE of the polish staff bothered going after all the effort my boss went to....

Because our benefits and free health care are the best in Europe.  Having said that, they work in low paid jobs that 'British' people do not want to do.  Money they earn in the UK is worth a h**l of a lot more in Poland.  I believe property prices there are a tenth of what they are in the UK.

My understanding is that they come here and work their backsides off for a few years and save up a few grand which they then take back to Poland where it's worth a lot more.  That's why there are more Eastern Europeans leaving the UK than arriving at the moment.

Ha! Soggy dull Island?!?! You clearly haven't been to the right parts of the UK. I don't think you should expect answers if you insult an entire country. We are a more econamically developed  country; thus being by people come here.
