I haven't yet heard of any psychic who was able to help solve an old unsolved crime.  Usually, it takes meticulous police work, the willingness to look at ALL the evidence, and sometimes a break in the form of a knowledgeable person coming forward with an overlooked clue.  If psychics were any good, there would be no unsolved crimes.
