Question:

Why do Republicans argue he-said-she-said?

In debates, speeches, and interviews, republicans and conservatives have a tendency to address their opponent regarding things they have said and things that have been said about them rather than things they have done. Is this because republicans don't care what democrats have done, or because they don't know?

  1. Galilio said it best. I subscribe to both Left and Right sites. I see the same thing in Democrats that you see in Republicans. On the other hand, we are responsible for what we say. If it is foolish or just wrong, being called to account for clarification is reasonable.  


  2. Because those are the only arguments Democrats can engage in.

  3. Both sides do the same things, you just hear it the way you describe it because of your own biases. That's not an insult, that's the way humans tend to be.
