When McCain has switched multiple stances just to appeal to them since he gained the nomination...Isn't believing what someone says despite their past history the definition of brain-washed?

  1. It is unfathomable to me that you would accuse John McCain, A WAR HERO, of such shenanigans.

  2. All that Republicans have in this election is personal attacks on Obama and on his supporters.  If they try to argue on the issues, Republicans will lose.

  3. I don't call them brainwashed, but they are either ignorant or heartless for sure.  To approve of a candidate who voted against a bill that  would PROTECT INNOCENT BABIES BORN ALIVE FROM BOTCHED ABORTIONS...well, how could any sane person support someone who stated that they favor infanticide, oh, I mean "choice" even if it is outside of the womb?

  4. Read Obama's book and see for yourself that he's a racist and he flip-flops more than anyone.  Granted, he's a great speaker, but carrying through on his promises is something else entirely.  I for one, can't afford to have my taxes raised and that's exactly what he plans to do.

  5. All politicians switch stances in certain situations.  Some time it is done for political expediency, other times it is done because a situation has changed and the new situation justifies the switch.

Republicans are calling Obama supporters brain washed because what do we really know about this guy?  He has very little political experience and he talks about change, but does not provide detail.

His supporters are also overlooking some things about his background, his associations, etc. without asking him the hard questions about this.  For example, his associations with Bill Ayer who has been convicted of being an internal terrorist and on 9/11 said that he didn't do enough.   Why hasn't this been explored or answered adequately?

People want change, but what and how are you going to change it Mr. Obama?  I want details and I am not getting them.  What details he has proposed scare the h**l out of me.  Or does change simply mean that Bush is out of the white house?  That is going to happen regardless who wins.

The press and his followers are not doing an adequate job of qualifing him because they all want Bush gone out of shear hatred.  You have blinders on in my opinion.

  6. I believe they are calling Obama supporters brainwash to keep people from voting for him. Just like they were saying he was a muslim. People just don't want to believe that Obama is a true caring, educated black man who wants to make changes for this country. If he was white with the same political views John McCain would be out of the picture. Since Obama is a black man they fear he might only look out for Afrian Americans but little do people do their reseach and see that Obama was raised by white people. Obama just want this country to go back to the way it was before Bush when the Clintons were in office. McCain supporters need to open their ears and eyes and see that we can not have another 4 years of Bush Admin.

  7. Because republican lies had no affect on Obama supporters and also did not work as expected on independents. Karl Rove was sure that n**i's electoral tactics "Lie more - something will stick" will work as well as it did in 2000/2004. Not this time, obviously ..

  8. They aren't brainwashed.  Obama supporters have a different view of the criteria that should be used to judge a candidate fit for the presidency.  Conservatives tend to favor someone with experience.  Even Bill Clinton served as governor for two terms.  Executive leadership or extended government service is a requisite for such a huge responsibility as President of the USA.
