But sending most of our manufacturing to China's slave labor market "free trade"

P.S. I'm conservative, but NOT Republican - they've become too liberal.

  1. They, like John McCain and Ronald Regan (the man who said if we need more money we could just print it), know nothing about the economy.

Republicans aren't worried about someone's job being shipped overseas because it's not their job. However, they are worried when they can't just go out and poke a hole in the ground and sell what comes out.

  2. Because most Republicans are too scared to question or criticize their own in fear of being labeled "unAmerican". So instead, they just defend anything and everything the Republicans do, hence the rampant hypocrisy and double standards in the Republican party.

  3. Go listen to william hung sing " she bang"

the answer you seek will be found there

  4. Technically, any time you have a trade deficit you could label it as a transfer of wealth.

Limbaugh likes to call it "an exchange" of wealth, since we are getting something for our money (be it oil or cheap Chinese manufactured goods).

Never the less, if I give you money, then take the gasoline I bought from you and burn it in my car, a week later, you still have money and I have nothing.  So, there was no "exchange of wealth."  You are that much richer and I am that much poorer.  This is what folks like T Boon Pickens are talking about.

You are only EXCHANGING wealth if you acquire assets for your money (which, in turn, will retain value).

  5. The transfer of wealth its just a term used,We are actually get Oil for our money, If we drill here, the money stays here,Vote McCain

  6. Because in the former they lose money but in the latter they recieve money.

NO NO NO Republicans are not liberal. They are neocons, and you are appearantly a paleocon. There are no liberals in the Rebublican party, and only a handful of liberals in the Democratic party.

  7. This is easy. Because when we buy oil from crazies like Muslims, or from Chavez in Venezuela who's another crazy, it puts money directly in the pockets of those who would destroy us. Not only that, but countries like Russia have oil and it emboldens them with riches they never had, as we see in their attacks on Georgia, and threats to Poland. We beat them before because they couldn't keep up, but with inflated oil any idiot with any kind of oppressive system and idiotic socialistic / communistic economic system that doesn't work in the real world, can live off the profits of this windfall.

The transfer of wealth is because we are paying to much for a commodity we need, but we have right in the US. It's not just the republicans talking about this, it's obvious to anyone paying attention. Billions and Billions are spend on oil, and the higher the price the more these hostile countries with ugly intentions get power without having any kind of working governmental or economic system. They are free to  oppress the people who they would otherwise need to motivate, and threaten those who do have a strong social structure and empowered citizens who usually bring wealth to a country legitimately.

This empowers those who shouldn't be empowered because they threaten the world, and treat people like garbage. They would never rise to power except through war and taking, but usually other countries can stand up against them as their economic power is not strong. This is a very dangerous situation in the world, and if something is not done about it the world could become a very ugly place to live, sooner than you think.

  8. Why should we support our country when there are so many others that need our money! s***w our people and serve the rest of the world. Isn't that our moto? Let's build a school here, a hospital there all with your money, oops there was a flood here and a hurricain there let's send them your money. Let's sponcer a child here and a child there all with your money. When does it end and we start thinking about AMERICA and it's people and problems!

  9. China owns us, that's why we're calling it "free trade" and not a "transfer of wealth"

  10. The "free trade" acryonym which I have doubts about it suppose to open markets in China for us to send them products.  As their nation progresses above the slave labor rates and a middle class there is born it will become the biggest market on earth. It would behoove use to be able to send products (and services) to that market place in the future.
