Why do Republicans keep enforcing the sexism issue?

First they kept throwing Obamas race in the face of the public and now THEY not Democrats keep talking about Palin being a woman, etc. Can't we just think she's simply not good enough for the Job?

(Before I get many replies about me hating on another female....I am all for women empowerment and breaking the glass ceiling.....I after all am Latina and work with only older, white men in the news department at a broadcasting station).

  1. Many people thought that of Obama when he was relatively unknown.  I can see your concern, they both have minimal experience, but if you are looking for change, that doesn't really matter.  I think Sarah has a positive attitude and a good message, and she is sincere.  She wants to help change America...I mean reform.

Seriously though, I like her.  She is her own kind of politician, not completely Republican, and not overly liberal.  I think the majority of citizens are looking for something different, and she helps provide that.  Improvement = change, and I think both parties have realized that.

  2. show me where the republicans played the race card.

    prove it

its obama that uses that card

your just mad because Palin looks better than you

  3. I agree with you that she is not right for the job. If she didn't have an infant, I might think differently. As it is, if that child gets sick, she WILL NOT be able to concentrate on the country. If McCain dies (and at his age, this is a possibility), will she really be able to put the country before her family? As a mother myself, I know that it is impossible to concentrate on anything when your child is sick.

  4. she is way more than qualifed for the position.  She was in a Pta member, city council member, mayor, and government. what has obama done besides Senator then running for Pres. She was Picked by a long time veteran of the Senate. John McCain. obviously he thinks very highly of her.  both parties throw race in the face and it's false. Obama is winning the black vote because he's a democrat. that's just that. wasn't obama the one that said "first i wasn't black enought, now I'm to black". isn't he the one with the pastor that was screaming "America is damned"

  5. Actually the only one that brings up race is Obama. As for the women issue you should see the democrats degrading all women on the tv shows right now. They are the ones you should be upset with. I have no problem with a African American male or female as well as a white female running the country it is more important to me what their politics are and Obama's suck

  6. So I guess sexism at its best is when a women is running for VP......Your logic seems to have some fallacies in it.  How can you even say that when you are a woman, and your for female empowerment???

  7. One thing for sure, if Palin isn't qualified, Obama definitely isn't. That does not have anything to do with race or s*x.

  8. Sarah is being used.  It's sexism at it's worst and I am dismayed to see it.  She obviously isn't qualified for this position and was selected for her gender.  It just makes me sick.

  9. You obviously have not been paying attention. The only ones bringing up race have been the Clintons and Democrats. They also were fighting about gender. Republicans don't care about the race or gender of a person, it is about ideas.

Palin was a great choice for VP.
