Not all Republicans but Republicans like Huckabee and Pat Robertson certainly would like to see women as obedient servants-they've certainly said it enough times...quoting chapter and verse why it must be so...I guess they assume all Republicans and Americans believe exactly like they do-which is not the case...

Easy answer, they don't.  You just choose to stereotype Republican women as Stepford wives.  A little narrow-minded of you, isn't it?  I thought that Democrats were supposed to be all about not stereotyping people and all about open-mindedness...  Maybe you're just not a good democrat.

I wasn't aware that they did.  isn't Condaleeca Rice a Republican.  it's never struck me that she's particularly Stepford.
