    Obama is the darling of the media. He's also ENORMOUSLY popular with the uninformed MTV crowd.

    Anyone who's paid any attention to news and politics knows better than to support him.

    Hence the "Celebrity" as opposed to "political popularity".

  3. Bill Clinton was popular, but Obama is borderline celebrity.

    He is kind of like a celebrity.I see him in gossip magazines,and his Berlin speech was mentioned in Access Hollywood. I see him and Michelle in Vogue,Vanity Fair,and Rolling Stone.

    Yes,past candidates have been in those magazines,but never to the extent that the Obamas have been and will be if he gets elected
