She is the exective Officer of a State. She is the commander in chief of the State Military Forces.

As for the other subject,  Any Officer in The U.S. Armed Forces are trained to lead men and women. They just don't only teach keeping your boots shined. Not everyone can be a Military Officer...

Simple propaganda. The facts are clear: she is a republican, she has ties with the oil barons, she is a moral fundamentalist.

No point having a war of words.  Neither McCain nor her is going to be in office anyway.

edit - Also, Bush had governing experience and he still made an awful president. Being a governer means nothing.

Edit: I haven't heard the news exclude McCain from that list. Actually I have heard it said that on the basis of executive experience, she has more experience than all of the candidates combined, including McCain.

I have also heard that between his 26 years of government service, his devotion to the country from his military service, and his standing as the most bi-partisan voting senator in history that he has the most experience in security and foreign affairs.

I have also heard that with her extensive background as a reformer and sweeping economic and environmental reforms (resulting in the largest tax increase on oil companies which she returned to the people of Alaska in the form of a $1200 per person refund check) and her position as commander of the National Guard, that she shores up any weak spots that McCain has.

They are truly a dream ticket and I for one am thrilled!

I suppose it is because she is a governor but that really has to be put in context.  Senators help their states out in more ways executively than governors.  Yes it is true that governors more directly make the decisions but the senator is the face of the state.  They are the ones that works day and night to ensure their state continues to prosper in some way shape or form.  Personally there are many qualities needed to qualify as being able to run a country.  Being governor helps but is not the overwhelming substitution for state leadership on a national level.  Not to mention the ability to engage into foreign policy which senators deal with much more often than a governor.

FACT: OBAMA has 170 working days in US senate, the entire time he was in senate he was trying to do NOTHING for this country or bills but run for president (thats why)

FACT......Obama Taught Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago for 12 years.

All of this he doesn't HAVE enough experience is OLD news and Lame like McCain...... I'd rather have a lawyer on my side defending me and leading this country in the way the founding fathers wanted it to be ran instead of someone getting into office trying to dictate and take away all of my rights.  

Seems like a easy choice for me......

They feel that she is what they need.  A gun toting , pro-choice, I can work and take care of a family "mama". In their minds, this would attract these types of voters.
