Why do Saudi Arabian companies give preference to US and UK citizens over fellow Muslims for jobs?

I know of Muslims from countries like Australia, UK, USA and South Africa, who more capable than the ppl they lose out to in terms of qualifications and experience, being ignored in favour of non-Muslim compatriots. They believe that they being rejected due to the fact that the govt prefers ppl who wouldn't want to stay on in Saudi when their contracts are expired...Comprendre?

You could have said fellow Saudi's.....

cause if you say muslims... then what if they gave jobs to US and Uk muslims? is that better?.. Is your argument muslims or Saudi citizens?.... Understand what Im getting at?

.....first of all, Saudi companies prioritize its citizens before others.....for example, a big construction saudi company needs a project manager and project engineers listed in local newspaper for saudis in classified ads......many saudis came for interview but none of them are qualified.....the resume submitted is not appropriate for the job position.....a saudi owner wanted to have profit in his company if he will hire his fellow citizen, do you think his company will grow and profit? I doubt it....I predict he will file for bankruptcy after 3 months....lolz......thats why foreigners are needed to replace the job position which were first offered to Saudis.....these are facts my dear......only few Saudis are hardworking and they're holding top positions in Saudi Companies.....no owner would put someone who doesnt deserve the position even if it is his fellow citizen.....

because they're more educated and more capable. Maybe when Muslim countries start taking care of education like the US and the UK then Saudi Arabia, and all other Arab countries, won't have to rely on the west for everything.

I believe that Saudis have the priority to work in Saudi companies before others whatever if they are Muslims or not, their faith won't help to skyrocket the profits.

However, efficiency and education is the thing that plays the major role

Are you saying that people are hired more because they are Non Muslims? Never heard about that. The only thing that counts is where people of certain professions received their education.

Fact is that the West still provides the best education in certain fields. This got nothing to do with Religion at all. Fact also is that in the US and UK you will not find that many specialists being Muslims.

Anyway who cares about Religion as long as the job is done right?

Let me ask you something: Your baby has a heart problem. Would you go the doc's Religion or where he got his education?

edit: I do not understand what you are saying about "staying longer". Every Expats just can stay as long as his contract runs. That's for all expats no mattr where are from and what religion.

What's going on here? Questions that are baseless and factless just keep on popping up and for what? To spread the hatred or prove that the condemnation and label of the west against muslims are correct ? (see the racial implication of the question)

What being a muslim has to do with a job being awarded to US or UK citizens which are justly qualified ? Should you questioned them? ( dumb me - you just did !)

What about those americans or brits who are muslims and qualified ... will you question them as well ?

And what about an American or UK cardiologist being employed by the Security Forces Speciality Hospital who - let's say- is about to do triple heart by-pass operation on you, are you going to question whether they are muslim as well and if found not - will you look for an Egyptian doctor instead who is a muslim in another hospital?

Americans and UK people are more qualified then Saudis and speak English better.  Saudis are lazy and don't do a lot of jobs so that's why there's lots of foreigners in their country.
