  1. The truth is that Saudi students are offered a very large incentive to come to America and to learn under our university system, because America is trying its best to be diplomatic with the Saudis.  The idea is that the Saudi students will come to foster a greater appreciation for America, thus leading to a more connected future between the two countries.  We do have a good university system, although that has little to do with the original motive for the students coming over.

The reason its Saudi Arabia and not another country is the age-old relationship America has that is based solely on oil.  We have to appease the Saudis in any way we can, this is just a version of that desire manifesting itself in education.

  2. I would assume it is a combination of school quality, religious tollerance and ease of getting a visa.

  3. Because we have great schools of higher education and we give breaks to foreigners.  So they can come here and learn and then use it against us later.

  4. Several came to fly commercial jetliners into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and it is unclear what the third target was.

  5. Because the United States is the best country in the world.

  6. I edited my question now :)

  7. Because in education, if you can afford it here we are one of the best. I just don't think it's fair to the Americans here who want to go but can't afford it. Than these out of country people get scholarships and go for free. As if that were not bad enough they come here, go to our schools, paid for, than some 10-20 years down the road come back to haunt us in the form of terrorists!  And you can thank Bill Clinton for that! It's all politics!
