Why do THEY feel entitled?

I saw on the news today that an increasing number of North American Jamaican Israelites feel that the world owes them something? I mean, where do they get off??? Its not like the Spanish-Mexican Germans gave the non-black African Neo-n***s anything to complain about. What are your thoughts on this?

  1. the world owes them nothing, they earn it like the rest of us or go without.

  2. Thats just as bad as thinking the 'white folks' owe our current black society a phat check for there 2349823948234th cousins brother was a slave.

  3. There is ALWAYS some group out there that believes they're entitled to the silver platter. Trust me! I've lived for 50 years.

  4. First, I guess I'm curious of the context of the report.  Specifically, what exactly they felt they were entitled to??

Secondly, the more I live and learn (and traveled/lived internationally), I realize humans are humans....no matter where we are from or the color of our skin.  And that life is always going to be unfair regardless of this.  We are "owed" nothing.  Each of us is given a life and choices to make w/our own. What we do w/that is up to us....and that's it.  We are not owed anything.

I think some people spend more time complaining about these things and wasting time realizing these simple facts.  Just my opinion.

However, in defense of many, there are clearly races, etc. on this earth that have unfortunately been treated unequal in history due to ignorance of the people making the rules at the time. This is where most people today, I believe, feel they are entitled to something due to those historic facts.  In some ways, I agree with them....as long as what they are referring to is that they are treated as humans and equals and deserving of respect.  After all, we all deserve that.
