Why do TV shows change the name of companies?

There was a coffee cup and it was called Sky Bucks. Its suppose to be Starbucks. Why cant they use the real company name?

Yes yuo need to prepare to pay the company or at least prepare to get sue

Sometimes the even turn the brand away from camera just to advoid future disputes

If they would use the  name " Starbucks" they would have to pay Starbucks a royalty.  But using a name of a company which does not exist, you avoid this problem and expence.
