  1. Just because you are serviced by someone or something does not mean that you turn a blind eye when that someone or something does something wrong. Yes, I agree that our Police, Firefighter, military personnel is vastly underpaid, and under appreciated. The majority does wonderfully brave and unselfish things each day, but those few 'bad apples' can no be allowed to go un-chasten or unpunished when they break the same laws and rules they have sworn to uphold.

If we can't trust Those people who are there to protect us, what security do we Have?

  2. You mean condemn? Condone is a form of approval

  3. From The New Merriam Webster Dictionary:

"CONDONE: To overlook, forgive (an offense) by treating the offender as if he had done nothing wrong. syn: excuse, pardon, forgive."

    as in:

I condone your misuse of the word condone because I understand what you actually mean, and I agree with you.

  4. I know what you mean.  Anyone that has a gripe with the cops should ask themselves if THEY themselves would stop a car at 3AM with four strange men in it?  I sure as h**l wouldn't.

And the firemen & woman also take such horrible chances all the time, I don't know how either one's families put up with the stress.

Unfortunayely I have had to need both for assistance in my life, and I thank God we have them. (Ithanked them too) even for a DUI  I got many years go.  I was a kid, and I could have killed myself or someone else.
