Why do WWE keep bringing people back for 1 match and then releasing them?

Question

Shannon Moore not been on TV for a while, has match with Jimmy Wang Yang then he's released, Highlanders come back after a stint out, then they are released. Do we now worry about Superstars who have been out for a while? Gregory Helms? Boogeyman? Eliyah Burke? They not been seen for a while. Do you expect to see them finally back for 1 match and then they go?

Watch your back Undertaker. lol, don't think it will happen to him or Rey Mysterio or Randy Orton.

Is there anyone else who has been out for a while who could be gone when they return?

Yeh i know what you mean. And i have a feeling Kenny Dykstra's gonne go next. He was bought back last night for one match so he could well be releaed next. I think this just keeps happening to let them have one last match and then let them go. You know?

It sucks because Divas like Cherry can actually wrestle. She was amazing in OVW. Shannon Moore was talented as h**l and got released. I mean wth?

Maybe Candice will go next too. Shes been out for a while but i think she might feud with Mickie or something. All the ones you named are injured or recovering so i hope they dont go because each was has the potential and are talented. WWE need to get a grip.

It's like its a " Wrestle For Your Job " match. Obv they are scripted to win/lose the match, but they have to show good skills to avoid being released. I guess the people you mentioned just couldn't cut it in the WWE. But the Shannon Moore situation was a bi***. He was ultra-talented.

Sorry abou talkin' to someone else in your question anyway.I hope The Black Pope Elijah Burke,Kenny Dykstra,and GOD help the WWE if they release Gregory Helms! If Helms get's released,then i'm officially through with SmackDown!,and if RAW sucks for 3 more weeks i'm through with it too & from now on i'll just be stickin with ECW & TNA. And as for The Boogeyman he just might get released,since recovering from dental work the last plans i heard they hd for him is to move him to SmackDown! in order to appeal to kids,but i still hope he doesn't get released.if o,then oh well WWE's idiotic lost(i'm calling the WWE idiots for releasing people who have talent instead of hose who make them money & appeal to kids) is TNA's brilliant gain don't you think?

I think the reason they bring people back for one match and then release them is to gauge whether they have the potential to get over with the fans or not. If my theory holds water AT ALL, then the most probable reason Shannon Moore and The Highlanders had only one match and then got released was because they couldn't get a good-enough pop or enough heat for the WWE to consider them staying.

It's cost-cutting, ladies and gentlemen. The WWE, rich though it is, cannot possibly afford to keep around highly underused talent for much longer.

Gregory Helms is expected to return in the fall. Elijah Burke is working on a new gimmick but I don't know when he'll be back. Boogeyman is likely to go the way of Moore and company; quite frankly he's not amusing anymore, and he's getting old.
