  1. Let me tell you about Jesus. My Jesus. I’m not talking about 2000 years ago. I’m talking about today. Right now. He loves me. He loves me. Even when I’d like to escape, even when I’d like to leave this life, just for a moment, He’s there. And He’s there when I go down, when I fall, when I want to do things that would hurt me, when I feel sick to my stomach (or is it my heart?) and depressed because I don’t understand myself, or anything for that matter. He is there. He’s there when I’m crying and I think no one is listening. And He’s there when I feel lonely because everyone seems to be studying for some sort of test, and no one seems to have the time to just talk for one minute about something besides grades. He’s there when I make mistakes. And He’s there when I doubt. When I wonder how all these things can be happening in my life.

And then, there’s those times- the times when my heart races because I just know that something is about to happen. The times when I open my mouth to speak, and the words that come out are not my own. The times when I wake up in the middle of the night and just pray, with more honesty than I could muster up during daylight. The times when I feel an overwhelming presence that could be nothing less than that of the all powerful God. The times when I’m so filled with love and joy that I see everyone around in a different way. The times when I’ve been so overcome with passion that it’s borderline scary. The times when I hear the voice of God, and have to act upon it. The times when I jump up and down, just because I’m so happy to be alive, and to be living (there is, as I’ve found, a difference between the two.) The times when I know I’m accepted by Him, regardless of the way I act. Freedom. So go ahead- ask me about Jesus. My Jesus.

  2. God's requirement of faith requires me to categorize him as myth, just like all other faith reliant creatures and deities.

  3. Physicist H. S. Lipson said: “The only acceptable explanation is creation. I know that this is anathema to physicists, as indeed it is to me, but we must not reject a theory that we do not like if the experimental evidence supports it.” (Italics added.)—Physics Bulletin, 1980, Vol. 31, p. 138.

“Because what may be known about God is manifest among them [“men who are suppressing the truth”], for God made it manifest to them. For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable.” (Romans 1:18-20)

    .

Since “the world’s creation”—particularly since the creation of intelligent human creatures, who could perceive God’s existence—it has been evident that there is a Creator of immense power, a God worthy of devotion. Those who fail to acknowledge God’s glory are thus inexcusable.

Psalm 19:1 answers by saying: “The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his hands the expanse is telling.” David discerned that the stars and the planets that shone through “the expanse,” or atmosphere, gave irrefutable proof of the existence of a glorious God.

However, it takes discernment to hear this witness. “There is no speech, and there are no words; no voice on their part is being heard.” Yet, the silent testimony of the heavens is powerful.

    respectfully,

    Simone

  4. open your door - AMEN !! :D

  5. Whoa. What was that big cuss word?

Answer: No I don't believe in any god or goddesses. I don't assign myself to anything but the goddess Eris and chocolate. And strippers.

  6. There's no God because:

    We're here cuz we are!

    Everything exists cuz it do!

What happened was - there was this particle that existed for no reason that expanded one day cuz it felt like it! So it did, and here we are! Mystery of existance SOLVED! What's so hard to understand about that?

  7. Father God saved my life, and the life of my daughter. The more I pray and hear The Word of God, the more I'm aware of His constant presence. I believed by faith, and the rewards for me have been physical. There are so many "little" God occurrences, He gets all The Glory.  When you take the time to do actual research, science is constantly proving The Bible to be true. I will list some resources below that would definitely help with your paper.

  8. I don't, because there's no evidence to support his existence.

  9. Scientists can't find proof of God, but any real Christain has proof in thier heart. You  just feel Him and you see the good change in yourself.

  10. I don't believe in God because I believe in science. And science has not *yet* proved the existence of an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and invisible being. Should that ever happen, I will grovel in the mud in repent. And God, being the compassionate, all-forgiving being that he ostensibly is, will accept me into the kingdom of heaven. I win either way. Yay for me!

  11. I believe in God and it is because of my own personal experiances and answers to prayer. At this time in the world it is becoming increasingly harder for people to believe in God. This time is referred to in the Bible as the "great falling away". We live in the information age and a lot is coming out showing the error of the church and proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that much of our religions are made up. But still this does not disprove the existance of God but only the church.

God can neither be proven or disproven by written facts, he just is, "I am that I am". You take it on faith and then he proves himself to you through answered prayers and experiances.

  12. The faith that God has given me has provided proof for his existence.

    -Till He Returns

    God Bless

  13. I think that it's natural to believe in God.  I was raised in a household headed by someone who believed in God so I was reared to believe in Him, but I have chosen to keep my faith.

So my answer is: I believe in God because that is my choice.

  14. I don't believe in gods because the idea that a super-intelligent entity could just exist from nowhere and nothing, for no reason at all, is clearly nonsense.  Intelligence is a product of the universe, not the other way round.

  15. (1) There is no verifiable scientific evidence of a GOD or where he might be ("live" "exist"),

    (2) Science determines what is:  What is real.

    (3) God is not real.

    (4) In addition GOD existence has no meaning for me.  Belief in it gives me nothing of value that I can't get from other, better sources.

  16. what the ************** does ************** mean?

oh and you can tell me just by putting ' in between the words like

  17. There's simply no reason to believe in any god.

  18. Because I have come to know that He listens to me.
