Why do YOU hate school?

Question

i hate school because of the drama.

i really dont mind the learning part.

homework is OK, if i dont have practice or something.

but i cant sit still, or pay attention, that long, so im like a note takin machine!

well i love school i just don't love the drama , i don't love that they are some stupid teachers in this world , and i don't love having loud, abnotious ,,(sorry don't know if i spelled that right) slow , attention wanting people in the class

i dont mind the learning part either but i hate some of the people you know the ones im talking about the ones that think everyone likes them when we really dont and they act like b*tchs to everyone

oh and i hate getting up at like 5ish then having to do homework until all hours of the night (stupid honors classes)

but i really dont hate school

I hate homework, i have little girls that talk **** but run around scared of you, and i hate the learning thing. I just go for my few truee :D

I don't hate school, I actually like it.

I'm a straight-A student, so learning is not a problem.

I don't mind a little drama. School isn't school without drama.

I hate having to sit still and listen to a teacher talk for 8 hours straight!

I also hate the homework, have to get up at 7:30, and having to look cute everyday.

LOVE school, with all of the classes and activities.

HATE drama and snobs and being overworked and overtired.

To :]: You're so lucky you only have to wake up at 7:30, my school STARTS at 7:20, and I have to be up at 5:30!!!!

I don't go to school anymore, i left school years ago but when i was at school i didn't hate it and i think you'll miss it one day.

I hated the fact that people made the simplest thing difficult and it was hard to get heard but other than that i liked it.

the learing part puts me to sleep, which i dont mind sometimes ;) LOL

but yea i dont hate school all that much, just when the teachers talk on and on, and im so sleepy and bored..ugh LOL

i don't like the drama girls make, doing projects, paying attention for that long, and getting up early. I love my sleep! I get like 10 hours a night in the summer.

To tell you the truth I love school.

But I have my bad days.

When I do have my bad days the things that agrivate me are know it all teachers and students, jerky pe teachers, idiotic pe games, when friends act like brats around you to impress others, and I agree w/ya about the monotone teachers. I've had a few through the years and I've just wanted to scream!!!

I hate school because of most of the people. They are just so rude and obnoxious, they don't give two s***s if they are getting an education. The girls are especially horrible in my opinion. In total, I hate the school district, I just can't wait to go to an out of state college when I graduate. And I hate that most of the time are school smells like marijuana, which is usually why the boys bathrooms are blocked up.

I do like school though because of course my friends and I love band. My two favorite parts of school. I'm someone who likes to learn, well not in math. I hate math because I struggle so much in it. I always feel like such a dumb ***, but in that class I always get a teacher who doesn't want to take the time to help the children understand the material. They just give you notes, homework, and then a test. Then when I try to help they just say you should have been paying attention. I do pay attention only to get so frustrated because I just don't understand. Ugh, math is always a nightmare, I wish I could just be done with the subject forever.

But I do like learning in other subjects though. English is a top favorite of mine because I love to read and I have a huge passion for writing. Anytime we have to write a book report or a writing prompt in English I'm always excited in doing because I love to write. I also love to read and give our opinions on the book. I had the most awesome English teacher last year and I would love to get her again this year, but it's a slim chance. I also like learning in any social studies subject. I don't know why. I like learning more of about different cultures and countries and such more though, I just find it so interesting. I like learning about stuff like The Great Depression or World War 2 or Vietnam. My World Studies teachder also kicked major ***, so I would also love to have her again this year, I may or may not.

So I do like school but I also hate it at the same time. It's a love/hate relationship.

well im out of school now but what i hated was waking up early and written homework, i didnt mind reviewing my notes nightly or studying for tests but i never understood the point of written homework did they think we were going to forget what we learned in 15 hours? it just never made sense to me

It's not a challenge.  It boring.  I can fly through the work and then I have nothing to keep myself busy with.  That's why I normally miss half of the year lol.  I still passed all my classes so there's no reason for them to sick truancy people on me.  I'm being home schooled this year so I won't have to worry about that c**p.

b/c it's long and boring. i only go for the people there, other than that i could care less. i also don't like it because i have some sort of learning disability; i can't focus. i think it might be ADD

Last year I had decent teachers, so school was pretty good for the learning part. This year the teachers are just unbelievable. RE, History and Spanish teachers are incredibly dull. My science teachers (I have different science teachers for different days, I have two), one of them has no patience whatsoever, the other one doesn't care about his students at all. I had the best math teacher ever, but she left right before the holidays so I don't know who I'll have when I go back. English teacher is good, but my Geography teacher is a bit crazy.

Oh well, I suppose it can be hard being a teacher so it probably isn't their fault. Or maybe we're just a bad class.

My friends make school so much more enjoyable though! In all my classes I'm with at least one close friend, which makes them less boring. The people who I don't like (I've never done anything personal to them, they just don't like me and I don't like them) I just tend to stay away from them. I do get the 'occasional' snide remark from people, but I just let them think what they want to think about me. If they crave drama, it's their problem not mine.

the other kids. im totally cool with the learning part. i have a learning disabilty which makes it harder for me but im alright with it. i also hate the homework and oral presentations and gym class

I don't hate school, just the way ours runs. They place kids in Special Ed not because most of them need it, but because they get more money for each kid, even though it makes us look dumber. And, like you, I don't mind homework or the educational part, but I really hate all the "drama". One time last year, there was this loser kid in my grade who thinks he's a real "ladies man". Anyway, this super S****y girl in my sister's class got in a fight with a bi girl who moved here and this super religious girl was shouting up the halls that there was a fight going on. It was so funny and SO over dramatic!

thats pretty much it.Drama is okay if your not mixed up in . other than that i LOVE school. My school is like the movie Mean Girls- minus the mean girls. its pretty much hilarious. there something to laugh at every day.
