Why do a lot of black women say that if a black man doesn't find his mother attractive he is self hating? Most of the black women on here say it and I've heard more than a few feminist say it. Why should I find my mother attractive? that seems sick

I've never heard of this before either. I've often heard others say they look for a man to *respect* his mother, or they watch how he treats his mother. Having to find her attractive is news to me. And judging by the prior comments.... uh? I'm not sure where you're hearing this.

Most men seek women, who seem to reflect some of the traits of there mother are the mother figures in there lives.

The mother is the first teacher, nurturer and symbol of femininity.

I haven't heard that. But I have heard that if a man disrespects his mother....he will most likely disrespect his woman. That makes more sense.
