  1. It's a dialect.  Every region has it's own variation of words.

  2. stfu fool. its called slang.

chuck norris just butchered you daammn

  3. it's all based up on where you grow up at. if you grow up down south n the hood somewhere you probably gonna have a accent and say some things that might sound like slang somewhere else but normal talk where they from. that word or phrase catches on with other people and pretty soon  half the nation is saying it. most of the other stuff like the inproper english in stuff probably came from the slave day and most people expect black people not to know how to speak proper english so most people are just living up to their expectations.

  4. Why is it that all aspiring intellectuals fall short when ever they feebly attempt to belittle and/or ridicule the RHH section?

Firstly, you raise the question, "Is Ebonics really a dialect or just an excuse to speak lazy with a Germanic language." Where I'm from, we like to end questions with question marks.

Secondly, "Why do a lot of hip-hop guys" is a FAR cry from proper English vernacular -- In fact, I'm embarrassed for you.

  5. i guess there the lingo thats going around there neighborhood at the time so they use it to identify themselves an basically where there from cause you can tell if someone is trying to hard to be ghetto or its just natural then again people are just dumb and havnt heard real english since they were little kids im from the ghetto and thats a hard thing to answer its just how they talk so hope i helped theres a million reasons so good luck

  6. cosign with Chuck Norris

An adjective describes a noun and an adverb can describe a noun, adjective, or verb; therefore, you should have said "speak lazily". I have never heard anyone say "fo sore" but I have heard people say "fo sho". And what in the hel* is a hip-hop guy? By that, do you mean rapper? Last I checked, hip hop was not a hyphenated word.

Edit: whoever is giving everyone thumbs down must be desperately in love with Miley Cyrus

  7. i live in augusta, ga and i noticed myself and everybody else cuts the english language short, just cuz its easier to talk like that, but it does depend on where you grew up at, "ebonics" are a dialect of english. i know when to talk proper but i always have a southern accent no matter what.

  8. Whoever bashes the use of ebonics really don't understand it and its usage.  Most people aren't even doing it on purpose, they just talk the way they know how to talk.  When everyone around you talks a certain way, you are going to talk like them naturally.  Nobody sits there and say to themself, "What other words can I use to butcher the english language."
