I saw this video yesterday, I always that Poles, being Slavic, were a light haired,fair-skinned toned kind of people, like their German neighbors! Not trying to be prejudice, just curious!

  1. most people in Poland have fair/light skin with light hair and light eyes

just those girls either get a lot of sun or they go to the tanning salon

  2. It's just the way we are.  Just like lot's of people who were born in Africa have dark skin, we have "swathy skin" lol.  A lot of women have light hair but they usually dye it=)

  3. Our skin tans a lot better than Western Europeans, probably an adaptation to working outside and in the sun more than the more urbanized West. Many blond Poles have a very nice even tan, which I personally find very aesthetically pleasing.

Poland was also historically home to Gypsies, Armenians, and Jews, and even shared frontiers with Turkey and the Mongols at times. So compared to Germany we've had much more direct contact with swarthier peoples.

Finally, many Polish girls are fond of tanning themselves and Polish men often prefer dark-haired, dark-eyed and dark-skinned women.
