Why do abuse people in every kind sometimes run back to the abuser?

I met this nice gentleman near the bus stop.Talking about leaving his wife....I remember this dude during Katrine..He told me a story about his abuse his wife(verbal,emotinal and phys.)

He say

The reason

He never leave

Cuz, he love his kids

n dat the mother of his kids

N suddenly his wife come out the blue and whipe him with a shoe like a child for talking to strangers:C

because they're afraid that the abuser is going to come back after them anyways, and to make the abuser happy they chose to stay.

Well, if you were abused you would understand. Being on the outside looking in you can say you would leave.....I can't take that.....I would whip his @$$! But its not as simple.

Im speaking from a womans point of view.

When a man abuses a woman (in all aspects) its hard for her to just leave. She is scared as h**l....and when she finally gets the courage, she will leave for a few days and return only because she knows he will find her if she doesn't and abuse her worse!

There are a lot of women out there who are abused by their men/husbands etc. and scared to even get help!

FEAR is what makes them return.

Sometimes there can be good reasons for staying in an abusive situation, but you don't know enough about the man's situation to say if this is the case or not. You don't know if he was telling the truth about his kids, if he could afford to leave but chose to stay, etc. Not enough information.
