  1. If you're into acting or movies, you MUST see "A Streetcar Named Desire".  It is one of the best movies ever.  Marlon Brando doesn't have an affair with Vivien Leigh, Vivien Leigh's character is his sister-in-law and he treats her like c**p as she slowly goes insane... It's some of the best acting you'll ever see by all of the actors.

Kim Hunter as the sister (wonderful in this, but she's later known as being in the Planet of the Apes movies!), Karl Malden as Vivien Leigh's love interest, and Vivien Leigh all won Oscars and Marlon Brando was nominated, but lost.

Kim Hunter's character, who has a passionate love with a young, (usually shirtless) Marlon Brando's character, finally has enough of his ways (actually, one other thing happens, but I won't ruin it for you), and turns her back on him and he is left standing outside their door screaming her name... STELLA!!!!.  It's powerful - RENT IT!!!  It puts today's movies to shame!  (It was the first DVD I ever bought!)

  2. well, i am and actor and ive seen that happen. all i can think of is that it came from a soap opera or something.

  3. "Streetcar Named Desire", Marlon Brando standing in the street, screaming for his wife after having a steamy affair with Vivien Leigh:  "STELLLLLLAAAAAAAAA!!!"  It's supposed to be emoting at it's finest :-)  Most guys just sound like they're getting ready to punch someone!

ANY actor worth their salt trained in the last 50 years knows this scene!
