  1. curse your generation!  What is your generation, anyway?

  2. OK, what have you done this time?

  3. Because they see us being different as bad, and because we are "bad" they think every bad thing in the world is our fault...

  4. This is nothing new... every older generation from the beginning has thought that things are getting progressively worse, the innocence is gone, etc...

  5. Umm.. I think things have changed, technology has kicked in and things have become easier for us, when we have all the comforts, we are bound to get a little lazy.

Also, back then, they invented stuff, started new businesses with new ideas and got successful and rich. Now there is so much competition that not only has everything been done, there are like 100 people ready to do something that you can do.

So things have become more difficult, the mistakes are the same, but the success ratio has gone down i guess.

    Oh and blaming is easy.

  6. I don't think they do. It's more the fact that your generation constantly feels sorry for themselves cos, 'everyone is picking on us.' No one cares about anyone else, get used to it.

  7. because at some points we are not the same.we've grown up in somehow different cultures so we developed different personalities. we have other desires, needs appropiate to our age and they don't always understand us. sometimes we are irrational, we lack experience and they believe they always know what's good for us ... though they might be wrong. this is my opinion regarding the conflict between generations.

  8. coz they SUCK

  9. Because they're too stupid and lazy to realize that the way there children act is completely influenced by their actions, making it their fault.

  10. i know what you mean!!! its all our fault for everything

  11. because theyre stupid and forgot what its like to be a kid.

  12. It saves time.

  13. it's nothing new. really.

Adults always blame "the younger generation" or the "youth today"    for everything.

PLEASE read the next quotes and note the dates.

    ====================

"The young people of today think of nothing but themselves. They have no reverence for parents or old age. They are impatient of all restraint... As for the girls, they are forward, immodest and unladylike in speech, behavior and dress."

Attributed to Peter the Hermit, AD 1274

"What is happening to our young people? They disrespect their elders, they disobey their parents. They ignore the law. They riot in the streets inflamed with wild notions. Their morals are decaying. What is to become of them?"

    Plato, 4th Century BC

"The children now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority, they show disrespect to their elders.... They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and are tyrants over their teachers."

"The young people of today think of nothing but themselves. They have no  reverence for parents or old age. They are impatient of all restraint. They talk as if they alone knew everything and what passes for wisdom with us is foolishness with them. As for girls, they areforward, immodest and unwomanly in speech, behaviour and dress."

Plato, or Socrates - 4th century BC

"When I was young, we were taught to be discreet and respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly disrespectful and impatient of restraint".

    Hesiod, 8th century BC

"We live in a decaying age. Young people no longer respect

their parents. They are rude and impatient. They frequently

inhabit taverns and have no self control."

    Inscription, 6000 year-old Egyptian tomb1

  14. I didn't know that we did.......

You don't specify your age, so I'm not sure what generation you are.  But I will say this - if children or young people are a problem, then MOST of the time it is the fault of the responsible adults in their life.

  15. A) they have no one else to blame

    B) our generation is somewhat lazy

    C) they want to deny the fact that our president doesn't know what he's doing, thus creating problems that they blame us for
