  1. "untimely demise" is a formal way of saying that a person died tragically. if a person is shot, run over by a vehicle, was in a vehicle that gets bombed, falls from a high place, or any sudden cause of death (perhaps cardiac arrest)... it doesn't matter what the age is, it's an "untimely demise" nonetheless. therefore it isn't semantically correct to say that a demise is timely.

  2. here in the Philippines, any death below 65 is untimely...

  3. If you owe money, it's untimely to your creditor.

  4. all deaths are untimely kid.

  5. It is when one dies unexpectedly that one calls his death an untimely demise.  It does not have anything to do with age.  It comes at any time, without warning lights or banners. It could happen to the healthiest of persons, to the youngest of children, even to the craziest tenacious health buff.

  6. Untimely are those who died unexpected, i.e. cardiac arrest, horrible accidents, etc.

There are those who had a  "timely death", i.e. cancer patients, a patient with a lingering illness, etc.

  7. If you are 105 and dying in bed with your kids and grand kids and great grand kids besides you it is a good time to die and go to your reward.

If you are 45  and dying and you have a wife  and kids that can't fend for themselves or will suffer because you are gone.  It is indeed too early and an untimely death.
