They think everyone is out to get them, when they are not the only race that has been mistreated every race has had their problems and yet they are the only race that is still crying about it.

  1. I have no idea, I've always wondered about that... But it is a sensitive issue, and whoever brings it up can be seen as a racist even thought it's not the case.

  2. I believe that they are raised with animosity.  The people who are alive today were never slaves.  Yes they have been mistreated through the years.  Yes, there is a stereotype because of the statistics.

BUT today everyone has equal opportunity to pursue happiness.

I wish everyone would just live right.  I wish America would use common sense and live moral lives. We'd have a lot less problems.

  3. no black person that fits this sterotype was ever raised by a parent who taught them better. i blame the parents and society for feeding the racism. they scream "racism!" and we say "sorry, would you like a school or a tv channel?" when we should be saying "if you think that way then leave. someone else would love to be in your shoes".

  4. Excellent question and I dont see you as a racist just curious. You are right to say that every race has been discriminated against. However I think African Americans do get the end of the stick. It's not that they want to play the "racist card" it's just, it is what it is. They are telling the truth and are sick and tired of people mistreating them and although people are sick of hearing about it, they must understand that it isnt going away until people stop being racist, pay reparations, and unite as brother and sister nation and not a racist, divided, country. Have you ever asked yourself why they were so mistreated during hurrican Katrina and why ugly things still happening like Jena 6? How would you feel if it was you or your people during that time? Blacks built this coutnry and and its Blacks/African Americans that this country always run back to-to save them after they have gotten stuck in various crisis? Would you feel like this country is a racist when all black leaders who make progress are suddenly assissanated? Programs like Affirmative action and shows like BET wouldnt exist id this country wasnt racist and divided. Please stop the racism. Also, slavery is something that will ALWAYS deeply affect African Americans on many levels they may not even full understand.

  5. I really agree. Ive always asked myself that same question. Like, some of them treat me like sh*t, when im nothing but nice and i get so sick of them acting like every white person is horrible. And out to get them. your right. their the only ones who can still cry about it. But its just getting old, and whenever i bring up, people think im a racist because I say that exact same thing. And when the african americans read this,. their going to be complaining. trust me.

I was reading the african americans comments. I knew that was gonna happen. So, the african americans had a bad histroy. But dont act like no one recogizes it. Theres black history month, and in my school we barely touch the subject on how whites helped the country. Its only what the blacks did. America is dedicated to not having a racist country so its not only the whites. No one realizes that whites go through things too. Everyone thinks its only the blacks. But Im white, and you wouldnt believe how much Ive been through.

Im not black obviously but dont tell anyone who isnt that they dont understand, because thats just being a hyprocrit. Some african americans treat whites like c**p and i know for a fact because it always happens to my family and friends. This isnt "being judgemental" its simply the truth. IM NOT A RACIST SO DONT CALL ME ONE. My best friend is black, and she was even the situations where african americans would give her bad looks for hanging with me.

  6. It is what they have been taught thru generations. It works for them.  They cry and get whatever it is that they want.

  7. Ummm i guess becuase they can...

  8. Well for one stop Stereotyping I am African American and i can't name once that i used that "race card" and why do "everybody" make African Americans out to always be so d**n bad.  who else has been mistreated as bad as Africans Americans then since they were forced in this country and still now since generations has quadruple? and you did nothing but start up a whole new topic and i believe we still have the d**n right to speak our mind and you won't understand why people talk about it until your Afrcan American so you should just leave that alone about it whose crying out ??? stupid racist !!!! and the jews didnt live in little america!!!! the home of milk and honey and liberty!!!!

TIP: when you ask a question on here you should be more specific and stop talking about us in wholes because just like every other race we all are different so STOP STEREOTYPING

  9. yeah some ppl do that at times BUT,

but it is true that they were and STILL are the victims of racism..

Deny it if you want but it won't change the reality. if you are not personally racist you won't know that at all.

I have seen it too often.

    BTW, I am not black.

  10. I dont know the african americans you hang around but we dont always play the racism card. We dont have 2. Truth be told these days its being played for us. I live in Louisiana (NorthLouisiana) and i have NEVER played that card. Racism is STILL A BIG FACTOR in life. Not just for Africans Americans but all races. We're not crying about it. Yes there's freedom but other races dont realize/like that and it makes us limited to some things in life. And im not talking about just African Americans. We want people to stop staring us down when we walk in a store. Get treated the same at jobs and have the same oppurtunity as others. Dont call us ''Boy". For the 20 years that ive lived and in the year 2008 racism is still very well alive towards all races. Trust me ive personally seen it. Especially here in the south. Its really sad.

  11. ya they do and im tired of it the jews had it worse and they are worse than white people beacuse they throw rascist coments at everyone then get all big and made like they' re going to do soming when we say soming as simple as go pick my cotton or if u fight me u might as well pick your tree and rope

  12. which is it? African...or American?

    jeese, PICK A COUNTRY !!!

  13. I have not clue. All I know is it makes every thing awkward. This one african american guy in a few of my classes calls me KKK (yes I'm Caucasian/white). I am quiet and never talked to him before. I know he was kidding but still. Also, another african american girl was dissing this white guys ex and called the ex white/swiss cheese. Geeze. There are tones more they do to white and asian(not trying to be offensive) people. Anyways thanks for asking this question. I want to stick around for the answers.

Edit: After reading all the answers. I guess some people in each nationallity play the racism card. Not all africin americans do, we just happend to come accross some who do/did. I know a few asians who use that card. And ect.. This society is sad. At my school, we are divided up by nationality. Here it goes......

    African americans and asians

    whites

    indians

    hispanics

and the people who mix together

I don't understand. Racism will never stop therefor the racist card will never stop being played.

  14. The real question is if it gets you out of something, why not? muahaha

  15. Your statement is quite judgmental. You must be a mind reader to make those statements; all African Americans play the race card. And, they are all crying about it. Perhaps you should dig deep and honestly into your own racial issues. You may get a surprise. No, I am not black.

  16. personally it really annoys me when people do this, they feel like if you say anything mean to them, that it's "because they're black"
