Scottish men do not wear dresses. They wear kilts, and only for ceremonial ocassions. The tradition goes back hundreds of years. Why do you wear a cowboy hat?

You are a very ignorant person aren't you. I think what you are referring to is what we call in Scotland a Kilt.  This is traditional in my country and men wear them to weddings etc nowadays.  Perhaps you should come to Scotland yourself to discover men don't wear them all the time, and perhaps you may get introduced to the "Glasgow Kiss".
