i guess it's because they are attracted to men, and want to seem more feminine as a result...but not all g*y guys talk like this, i've met some who aren't obviously g*y until they say so...so maybe it depends on how openly g*y they are and how much they want to put it out there...

Perhaps its over stimulation of the prostate, all that tweaking re-calibrates the vocal chords. Or perhaps they don't. Having worked in West End Theatre for 25 years I have a great many g*y male friends, very few of them have anything other than normal male voices, it's all put on for fun you know.

haha soooo true, i'm bisexual and thanks to god i do not have that nag, and don't deny it guys it's true almost every g*y friend of mine has that annoying voice which gets me pissed at times but thank god i don't i guess it's because i'm bi only perhaps? just a theory, but it's true .
