After I have a shirt for a year or so, they get pit stains. Is this just me? I don't really smell that bad.

How can I avoid ruining shirts with pit stains? Lol.

  1. pit satins are a very very sad part of life. i dont really think that undershirts will hwlp much because they just might make you a little hotter and you will just end up sweating some more. just get some really really good anti-persperant, the gel stuff usually works better and reapply after gym or whenever you need it. then just try not to lift your arms up to much.

  2. ~~Spray the stains with white vinegar and let sit on the stain for 15-60 minutes (depending how bad the stain is). Then launder, the stains will be gone and the material will be soft, fresh, and clean again.

It's caused by a reaction you are having from your deodorant, from maybe the perfumes they use. You can try switching brands till you find one which doesn't;t do that. We've had no problems with Sure, Degree, or Dove.~~

  3. 'tis a good idea for men to wear undershirts.

  4. Wear undershirts.

  5. usually they come from the deodorant you wear...i noticed that when i wore regular deodorant i stained shirts more, Now that i've switched to Natural,Clear Deodorant i no longer have Stains.

  6. shave your pits! and mabey some deodorant even if you don't stink the deodorant will soak up any moisture under your arms! I'm a girl and have that problem! lol

  7. Here is the simplest ways of keeping your shirts pit stain free and yellow collar free. Rub shampoo or a bar of soap on them and let them set for about 1/2 hour. Then wash them as normal. The stains are being caused by the oils that your body lets off naturally. Shampoo/soap takes care of the stains naturally.

  8. If you take vitamins, that may be causing the stains, or if you eat lots of veggies.....B and C vitamins can cause it.
