  1. TV stations do that too. Maybe it's because they don't want you flipping channels to find something else to watch....?


  2. It's the same with TV news channels.  Perhaps there is some mysterious force at play here.

  3. Most stations have made an informal agreement so their advertisers commercials are heard and not just changed the channel on. Which allows them to make money
