Why do all the news people lie and act so flakey and hyper?

Because they aren't really newspeople. They are actors, lawyers, good looking, smart looking or whatever the network thinks they should use to get ratings. What kind of degree do you think Katie Couric has?

Because the general American public likes watching that, they do what gets the ratings unfortunately.
