  1. Worms crawl up on the ground because they mate when it it dark and when it rains it gets dark. They do this because their skin needs to stay semi moist.  Then when the sun comes out it dries them up and kills them. That is why the worms die.

  2. wow in i thought i was the only one watched worms to well when it rain's it fine for the worm's in all it is when the rain stop's the ground start's to dry up in get warm are hot in they just curl up in die cause the ground is not cool enough for them and they just die out

  3. DEER FRIEND,

Worms live underground where they stay moist.

After the rain there holes flood and  they need air.

They leave the flooded hole come to outside world.

Top side and die. They dry out from lack of proper moisture.

  4. they dont ... but a lot of worms get out when it rains they cant breath underwater and so they go out of their holes to and some get caught on hot dry sufaces and dry up ....

  5. The worms escape the excess water, then end up drying out, because they can't get back (some of them)

  6. They crawl up because the water soaks the soil such that it's not loose and they have no access to air... so they come up temporarily to breathe then go back in when it stops raining... some get caught on cement though and stepped on and what-not so they die and stay there.
