Question:

Why do almost ALL these questions regard meteor showers?

Seriously, I've looked at the last 5 pages and almost 90% of the questions are regarding meteor showers. Don't we have better things to answer than the SAME meteor questions over and over? Or why can't people just click on the search tab and SEARCH their question that's asked on a daily basis? I could understand this occuring on a day for a special event, but WEEKLY? Am I the only one who is bugged about this? Sheesh...

Even this answer was automatically put under Infectious Disease- I must say it really is becoming one in the Astronomy & Space section.

  1. You are so right. Wow.

  2. At least the meteor shower is real!  I'm tired of asking 2012 and other stupid questions about stuff that isn't even real.

  3. just be lucky its nothing worse

i.e. UFOs Moon landing "hoax", 2012, etc..

  4. Because the famous Perseids Meteor Shower is this week... so it's in the news and on everyone's minds.  And as you pointed out, no one bothers to search for similar questions that might already have an answer.

I'm sure once Discover shows another one of it's crazy dooms-day programs again, or Fox craps out another moon hoax fit the boards will fill up with the familiar repeated 2012  and NASA hoax questions will reappear.

  5. I know, I've noticed that too. It's quite annoying, really...
