Question:

Why do almost all people who play fantasy football say Westbrook is a better fantasy back than Steven Jackson?

The reason I'm asking this is because considering how much Jackson dominated in 2006 (more than 2300 total yards) and the fact that he was supposed to dominate in 2007 but all that could go wrong for the rams did go wrong. Their entire offensie line was pretty much hurt and Jackson was out for four games and still rushed for 1000 yards under at that time the worst line in football with a bad passing game to open up the running game. The point is with a healthy line that is pretty much the same from the 06 season and a healthy Jackson who is more experienced than he was in 06 what would make westbrook a better back for this season?

Westbrook set career highs in rushing and receiving yards last season, as well as total touchdowns. That versatility makes him such an asset to fantasy owners. He has needed significant rest during the week to be ready to play on Sundays the past few seasons, but he almost always answers the bell

Steven Jackson managed to rush for 1,000 yards despite missing four games with a tear in his left groin, but his work in the passing game was limited. Chalk that up to Marc Bulger not being 100 percent for much of the year, and an offensive line riddled with injuries. With improved health across the board, Jackson should approach numbers from his breakout 2006 campaign

While they are close in what is expected of them, the ability of the eagles line gives westbrook a better chance for more fantasy points.
