  1. Not almost all women support abortion!!! Almost none of my friends support it and I dont support it even in the slightest! I think it's about half 'n half with this country.

  4. I don't support it, but women know what it's like to have the pressures of having, and caring a baby, and they probably support the teenagers who have to go through that.

Not all women support abortion.  I think most women aren't up for killing unborn living beings, but I think that women support other women's right to choose.  The question is...is it really morally a woman's decision to make?  Does the living being inside of her have rights?  Why can someone be charged for double homocide when they killed a pregnant woman, but that same woman could have gone out and terminated her pregnancy and it's legal?  Those are the real questions that should be asked.

  12. They don't support abortion per se.  They support a woman's right to choose what medical procedures will be done to her body.

    Believe it or not, there was a time when, legally, an adult woman did not have the right to make her own medical decisions.  Now women are treated like full human beings.

    Edit to Add: For those of you who do not believe that it is a true statement that "Almost all women support the RIGHT to abortion", the last comprehensive poll was taken by CBS in 2003 and it found that 74% of all women said that abortion should be available, and only 24% said it should not be permitted.

  14. Well first I don't think almost all women support abortion. But I definitely do. Because if one's having a child that is unwanted, it pretty much ruins the life of the mother, and father. The fetus is a human, but it has no consciousness, it has no feelings. It is more humane to kill a human fetus, than to kill an adult orangutan, as Peter Singer also says.

    (and I will be expecting bunches of thumbs-down marks, no?)

  20. I certainly don't. I mean if the baby has health issues and would die or if the girl did then i understand but not because they don't want people to make fun of you or anything. If i got in that situation (which im not going to) then i would give it up for adoption or something...........idk depends on their situation i shouldn't judge

  21. I grew up in the era where this debate was going on to pass abortion laws.  At that time, millions would go the black market route and get illegal abortions.  Alot of people ended up sick/dead/whatever because of these backyard abortionists.  Be very careful what you wish for.

    It may be because they know what it's like to be stuck with a child, or know that they certainly could, which is something even the most pro-choice men can never know.  

  23. I certainly do not support abortion.  That baby did not choose to be conceived.  There are plenty of other options out there.  There are many many couples that are not able to have a baby of their own and i'm sure they would love to adopt one.

  24. Women support does not mean they do it.  Most who do it wouldn't say that have it done and they are the loudest about "how could you murder".  But support does not mean the condone but those who do are not judgmental.

    If a person doesn't think it is right to have an abortion then they should not have one.  But to judge and make the states to make it illegal will be many women in harms way.  Because if a woman want an abortion for whatever their reason is, they will get it done.  Safe or not.  Legal or not.

    Another thing women have them all the time they are called D & C's a little information for those husbands & boyfriends who do not know.

  26. Women should have the choice. Would you rather a women to have a child which she does want, or would you rather her not have the child at all? Would you want a child to grow up knowing their mother and father didn't want them, or would you rather them not being born at all?

    Abortion reduces the amount of abused children and every child should be wanted. Abortion is safer than childbirth and the fetus is not a human, just a mass of tissue. The amount of abortions are pretty small anyways.

    Of course there going to be the argument about "oh if they didn't want a child they shouldn't have s*x" but sometimes theres no choice. What about those 14 year old girls who are raped? That's not their fault and having a baby would pretty much ruin their life.

  27. It depends on the age group.  Most younger women do.  Most older women do not.  Norma L. McCorvey (the famous "Jane Roe" of Roe v Wade) does not support abortion.

  28. I don't think they do! Maybe you are hanging around a certain group that feels that way. If you are young or in college, many of this population supports a woman's right to choose. I am older and I don't think many of my peers support abortion.
